ABOUT ME
job experience
Since graduating with my Graphic Design degree in 2017, I’ve worked for both start-ups and large companies where I have played a key role in developing their brand aesthetic and refining their graphics.
I enjoy designing in several different styles from feminine to retro to minimal and everything in between.
I can cater my style and my skills (illustrations, typography, watercolor painting) to fit the needs and vision of the project I’m working on.
I earned my graphic design degree from a top-ranking design program before moving on to receive my Master’s in the Business of Art & Design. I love learning and being able to grow and evolve as a designer.
my education
After four years in the corporate world as a professional graphic designer, I decided that I wanted to pursue my Master’s degree in order to further my career. I earned a Master’s in the Business of Art and Design from MICA. This degree gave me all the skills necessary to become a dynamic creative director and strategic team player. The curriculum taught me to combine my creative talents with the fundamental tools of commerce needed to manage finances, negotiate contracts, market products, and more!
MARYLAND INSTITUTE COLLEGE OF ART, MPS 2021
I graduated from Chapman University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design in 2017. I drew inspiration from my surroundings throughout my time at Chapman, having the opportunity to take courses in both Florence and London. These unique experiences have played an integral part in shaping my outlook on design and visual communication.
During my time in Florence, I studied the origins of art and science. Learning about the connection between the craftsmanship and ingenuity of Renaissance artists has influenced my own design process, making me more aware and intentional with my decisions.
While in London, I worked alongside my peers on the Advanced Communication Team for Burro Happold Engineering. We helped expand the campaign design for their program Lunar Mission Everyone, a new space endeavor that will store a digital archive of human life within the moon. This irreplaceable opportunity furthered my personal growth not only as a designer but as a leader and public speaker as well. With the skills I gained in London, I am fully able to integrate my Leadership Communications minor with my Graphic Design major, allowing me to thrive in group settings as well as individual projects. I plan to continue expanding my horizons with more trips and adventures in the future.
